As a Supplier Quality Manager you will manage a multi-national team responsible for all Supplier Quality initiatives within our company. Key objectives include the following:

 

•Drive quality improvements across all subcontracted manufacturers and suppliers through the implementation of supplier quality management processes.

•Develop and implement supplier quality improvement initiatives

•Establish supplier quality improvement objectives and provide periodic updates on performance against set goals / targets.

Lead supplier audits, supplier development, source inspection and drive execution of these activities.

•Establish processes and methodologies for prompt resolution of customer complaints due to supplier quality.

•Define and manage supplier audit planning, scheduling and completion including assignment of resources to complete audits.

•Follow up on audit findings and quickly drive to closure any actions required to address/correct audit findings.

•Identify proactive initiatives to develop critical and high risk suppliers processes to support new product introduction

•Facilitate safe launches of new programs at suppliers sites

Qualifications:

 

•Minimum B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or other closely related engineering field is required

•Familiarity with analog and mixed signal devices is a must.  Prior experience with 55nm process nodes is strongly preferred.

•Must have at least 10 years of working experience with broad exposure to wafer fab processes engineering or foundry engineering, with prior experience as a fab or foundry process engineer.

•Must have at least 5 years of management experience leading a quality or fab process or foundry engineering function.

•Understanding of Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, DOEs and Structured problem solving

•Must have project management skills and a track record of successfully leading cross functional teams in quality improvement projects

•Must have a solid understanding of quality system requirements and demonstrated analytical skills to use data driven approaches to solve supplier quality issues

•Ability to travel 40% to 50% required.  Must be able to travel internationally on short notice.
