Description

As a CAD engineer supporting our physical verification methodology, you will develop & integrate decks for DRC, LVS, PERC and ERC using Mentor tools. This job will require interfacing with the design teams, foundries and our fab technology team to develop and verify our rule decks. You will also be responsible for all physical verification methodology, including development, qualification, automation, and support of the physical verification flow.

A good understanding of layout rules and concepts, device identification concepts, and foundry rules is required. You must also be comfortable supporting layout teams and display solid programming knowledge in Perl, SKILL, tcl, and shell scripting.  Ideal candidates should also be familiar with the Cadence DFII framework and understand basic concepts related to gate and device-level extraction. Candidates must be proactive, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate versatility in handling a wide range of CAD methodology issues.

salary+plus 8%-15% bonus target and restricted stock.  We will sponsor H if required and will pay relocation.

•Experience developing PERC decks a plus

•Background in parasitic extraction and simulation preferred

•Experience with the development, verification, QA and release methodology for decks

•PDK development and validation experience preferred

•3+ years experience in related CAD field required
