JOB SUMMARY:
This position is
responsible for managing the Process Engineering staff. It includes
responsibility for controlled introduction of process changes that support
yield improvement, quality improvement, new processes and cost
reductions. This position has a key influence within the organization on
our quality culture, cost competitiveness and customer focus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Provide a positive
working environment and leadership for an effective Engineering team
2. Establish clear goals
for that support the common goals of the company
3. Generation of process
integration specifications
4. Integration of various
process modules into a process flow
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Spec documentation
including shop instructions, OCAP’s, process travelers, control plans, FMEA’s,
reduction of customer issues and maverick lots
- Quality improvement and
maintenance of ISO requirements
- Project planning and
coordination
- Cost reduction by
evaluating alternative solutions
- Work across the
organization to improve yield, cost, cycle time and new products introduction
- Mentor and lead the
module personnel.
EDUCTATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Chemical or Physics. Master’s
preferred
OTHER SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Familiarity with state-of-the art technologies in the
semiconductor industry
• Good comprehension of Statistical Process Control systems, FMEA
methodology, Design of experiments, Failure Analysis techniques, etc.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative ability across all
operational levels
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong influential
leadership skills
• Solid problem solving
and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with
semiconductor wafer processing equipment and materials, highly preferred
