JOB SUMMARY: This
position reports to the Process Engineering Section Manager and is responsible
for providing process support in the photolithography area of the fab. It includes
responsibility of evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing
systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and develop best practices
within the production process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Interface closely
with manufacturing, equipment engineering, IT, etc. To fully support the photo
area.
Disposition
nonconforming materials in a timely and logical manner.
Develop, sustain,
and improve processes to achieve fab and area goals.
Monitor processes
and equipment for optimum performance.
Work with
integration and process engineering groups to develop &/or troubleshoot
products, processes and process flows and provide customer support as needed.
POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process control
and improvement of the photo process; vapor prime, coat, align/expose, develop,
PR strip, etc.
Maintain reliable
and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies,
yields, cost and changeovers.
Improve process
capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality
standards
Provide technical
process development for new product introduction in the photo and etch
disciplines.
Work with
equipment and manufacturing to develop a cost effective and working production
process.
Collect, record,
and transcribe data.
Maintain reliable
and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies,
yields, cost and changeovers.
EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of BS
degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics
OTHER
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to
design experiments and make recommendations/process changes based on results
Hands-on
experience with semiconductor processes
Familiarity with
SVG coater and developer tracks, Canon MPA, Canon i3 and i4 steppers, Semitool Sirius Ozone Stripper, Semitool
SAT, P5000 Dry Etcher
Strong
communication skills and collaborative ability across all operational levels
Solid problem
solving and analytical skills
PREFERRED
EXPERIENCE: Semiconductor experience with Schottky, Planar
PN Junction, and MOSFET devices is preferred.
