Experienced Patent Attorney with 5+ years experience in practice. Experience
in semiconductor, wired and wireless communication technologies desired. The
Patent Attorney will oversee a portion of the patent portfolio for the
company
Must have at least 5+ years experience in patent preparation and prosecution
at a law firm and/or in-house.
- Experience in foreign prosecution is preferred.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of intellectual property law and practice, and
a desire to maintain current knowledge of pending legislative, judicial,
administrative reform efforts.
- Ability to understand our technology, in particular wireless and wired
technologies for the mobile, networking, computing and consumer electronics
markets (e.g., featuring Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Ethernet, powerline and PON
technologies).
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
by prioritizing projects and adapting to workload fluctuations.

- Possess excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to become an integral
part of a legal and business team.
- Possess sound judgment and demonstrate the ability to execute and deliver
a high quality professional work product in a fast-paced business
environment in a timely fashion.
- Self directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- An effective team player, comfortable in working with legal teams and
business teams.


Position will involve patent prosecution, portfolio management, advising
inventors and management on a variety of intellectual property matters;
review of prior art search reports; and general client counseling on patent
matters. This position involves substantial client interaction so good
communication skills are required. This position also requires the ability
to work in a team environment.

Juris Doctor from a recognized and ABA-accredited U.S. law school, excellent
academic credentials, and licensed to practice in at least one state;
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office;
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Engineering work experience
preferred.

5+ to 7 years of experience
Minimum Education - Juris Doctor
Willingness to Travel – Occasionally
