Description
This position is responsible for managing headquarters-based mixed-signal audio
applications engineering team. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s
degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of experience in the
semiconductor industry. Prior experience managing semiconductor
applications-engineering or other semiconductor field-engineering support teams
is required. Mixed-signal hardware and audio-related backgrounds are
strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
•Manage applications-engineering staff and activities through
product development and production
•Directly manage customer communication for support issues and
applications-related development projects
•Assess external support requirements (evaluation hardware,
software, documentation) for new products, and coordinate the specification and
development of deliveries
•Manage definition and implementation of application-level
product demonstrations
•Mentor junior team members to grow technical and
customer-communication skill from within
•Prioritize and schedule customer support and
applications-related development activities
•Manage and review technical documentation, including
application notes and reference-design manuals
•Identify requirements for and coordinate the development and
presentation of training materials for field technical staff
