Requirements

This position will perform complex electrical maintenance work as and responsible for all preventative maintenance; quarterly, semi-annual and annual.

Required to provide corrective maintenance with little or no supervision or guidance.

Strong troubleshooting skills required in a wide variety of complex electronic and/or electromechanical interface devices, vacuum systems, abatement systems, robotic systems and precision gas flow equipment.

Identifies maintenance repair parts required and communicates needs to maintain sufficient inventory.

Work with systems containing high temperatures, as well as electrical, mechanical, liquid and gas hazards.

Perform complex electrical maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment with specialty in the DIM area.

Train and guide other Maintenance Techs.

Self-motivation and integrity to work with little or no supervision and the ability and willingness to bring forward alternative solutions to problems.

Communicate effectively and productively in verbally and in writing with operations to ensure that maintenance needs are properly coordinated with production requirements.

Maintain an attitude of willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.

Qualifications

Able to lift, push, pull up to 78 lbs; carry 80 lbs; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing. Work environment could include slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, fumes or odors, dust or gases.

1-3 years of experience in a semiconductor fab working with a similar tool set. Able to work effectively in a team environment and practice good trouble-shooting skills on a compressed workweek.

1+ to 2 years of experience

Ideal candidate has worked successfully for at least 2 other semiconductor manufacturers in the capacity of a maintenance / equipment tech on similar tools covering Diffusion, Implant and Metals.
