GaN Sr. Process engineer
Must meet ITAR restrictions, US Citizen, Green Card holder, as there
are A LOT of government contracts within this particular line
of work.
Summary of Role, Operates MOCVD growth reactor(s)
to produce GaN epitaxial wafers that conform to
specifications. Plays an active role in
transferring processes from R&D into mainstream production. Possesses
strong process engineering “sense” and ability to back it up with statistical
analysis. Responsible for maintaining the MOCVD processes in a manner
that optimizes production yield, product quality and up-time. Contributes
to employment of best practices in terms of systematic approaches to tangible
metrics. Drives qualification activities and data correlation
studies. Proposes and drives continuous improvement activities internally
and externally. Participates in multi-disciplinary teams in support of
research or manufacturing/process related projects.
Essential Functions, To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able
to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations
may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential
functions.
