Facilities Specialist Gas Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Specialty Gas Engineer to be part of the Facilities Design & Engineering
Team. The position will provide leadership in specialty gas systems and
work with the design team to ensure all construction designs are not only code
compliant but ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility
infrastructure impacts. The successful candidate for this position will
have demonstrated Facilities Engineering and Operations Management success, be
able to lead an assessment of the current facility and provide guidance with
new capital projects, have abroad understanding of Semiconductor Facilities
Engineering and Operations, and advanced experience in Semiconductor Facilities
Systems. The successful individual will work with the facility engineering
manager to support construction activities through all phases of the project
life cycle to ensure quality projects with lowest total costs of ownership are
delivered and integrated into sustained long-term operations to meet the
manufacturing technology roadmap. The individual will report to the Fab
Engineering Manager and will be located in Saratoga, NY
Specific Responsibilities
·Develop procedures and specifications for the
specialty gas systems
·Provide specialty gas engineering leadership and
guidance in the Facilities Construction and Design Team.
·Detailed familiarity with toxic gas monitoring
systems
·Experience with managing TGM suppliers both
contractually and functionally
·Review and access the design for current and future construction
projects and make recommendations or validate robustness of design.
·Effectively facilitate discussions, agreements and deadlines with
people on project teams.
·Drive a world class safety commitment/culture.
·Proactively involve others in planning, decision making and
implementation to ensure a well-coordinated construction project.
·Ensure that project goals and objectives are met
and identify resolution as barriers develop.

Required Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
·Minimum 15 years of Operation and Maintenance of Gas Generation and
Distribution Systems.
·Minimum 10 years’ experience in Operation and
Maintenance of Gas generation and distribution systems for Semiconductor
Fabrication Plants.
·Analytical skills to trouble-shoot Specialty Gas Systems.
·Demonstrated negotiation skills
·Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage
multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet
deadlines and commitments
·Strong project integration skills, leading across multiple
departments and technical domains.
