KLA-Tencor Surfscan Technician

We are hiring for the position of Equipment Technician for KLA-Tencor Surfscan 6xxx, SP1, and SP2 Series Systems. This individual will be responsible for refurbishment of KLA-Tencor Surfsca systems. Prior experience with KLA-Tencor Surfscan 6xxx, SP1, and SP2 equipment is required. Below are the details for this position:

Primary Job Duties: Repair and refurbish KLA-Tencor Surfscan Wafer Inspection Equipment (6200, 6220, 6400, 6420, SP1 Classic, SP1 TBI,

SP1 DLS, and/or SP2 Surfscans)

Field Service, Installation and Training

Required Skills:

Must be able to research and find documentation on older tools.

Experience with mechanical and electro optical components.

Able to work with laser and optical components.

Knowledge of older computer systems (i.e. Intel 486 and Pentium Processors, and single board computers)

Software knowledge of Windows 98, Win 3.11 and network protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Two year electronics degree or five years equivalent work experience. Military training a plus.

Trouble shooting and component board level repair a plus.

Precision mechanical repair a plus.

Trained on KLA-Tencor semiconductor wafer inspection products a plus’
