The primary focus for this position is to ensure that facility complies with all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, in accordance with Company policy and facilitating positive interactions with all regulatory agencies. The EHS Supervisor will support and implement programs in the areas of safety, environmental compliance, security and accident, injury, and loss prevention as well as manage and maintains the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and all facets of 24/7 facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
Active role model in all company environmental, health and safety standards, programs and compliance initiatives
Maintain internal and regulatory requirements for data collection and reporting with OSHA, EPA, fire codes and all other regulatory agencies including permit filings
Analyzes loss control and oversees incident reporting
Assures the proper handling and disposal of all hazardous waste materials
Develops, implements and maintains security procedures to meet required codes and regulations
Keep abreast of any safety and environmental law or regulation changes that impact the organization
Provide continual training to all employees, as members of ERT team, in orientation and as part of their job duties to have a relevant understanding of environmental, health and safety issues
Maintain vendor relations and secure necessary bids for services
Oversees and measures the facilities equipment reliability and performance
Plans, budgets, and coordinates schedules facility modifications, expansions and maintenance of facility by coordination of building space, estimates on labor, equipment, materials, and other related costs.
Maintains an environmental policy
Respond to emergencies, incidents, near-misses, and property damage reports including investigation and follow up.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years’ experience in a similar role

Ability to take necessary steps to ensure a safe work environment for all employees
Experience in meeting compliance requirements with regulatory agencies
Able to formulate action plan and track results
Establish and maintain effective relationships with managers, supervisors and employees
Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail
Superior analytical/ problem solving, written and verbal communications
Ability to train employees at all levels
Strong deductive/problem solving skills
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed
Preferred, Safety/Environmental certification a plus
Experience working with local regulatory agencies preferred
