This position is responsible for managing mixed-signal audio applications
engineering team. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in
Electrical
Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of experience in the semiconductor
industry. Prior experience managing semiconductor
applications-engineering
or other semiconductor field-engineering support teams is required.
Mixed-signal hardware and audio-related backgrounds are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Manage applications-engineering staff and activities through product
development and production
Directly manage customer communication for support issues and
applications-related development projects
Assess external support requirements (evaluation hardware, software,
documentation) for new products, and coordinate the specification and
development of deliveries
Manage definition and implementation of application-level product
demonstrations
Mentor junior team members to grow technical and customer-communication
skill from within
Prioritize and schedule customer support and applications-related
development activities
Manage and review technical documentation, including application notes,
product data sheets, and reference-design manuals
Identify requirements for and coordinate the development and presentation of
training materials for field technical staff

Design and testing for electromagnetic radiation compliance
Digital audio interface technologies and specifications
