Acoustic Systems
Engineer
As an Acoustic Systems
Engineer, you will work directly with market-leading consumer electronics
companies to tune complex signal processing algorithms for noise cancellation applications.
You will perform lab experiments, debug algorithms, develop tests, and judge
sound quality of advanced signal processing algorithms. You will also be a key
link between our customers and our digital design team for developing,
implementing, and tuning adaptive algorithms.
Responsibilities
Tune complex digital
signal processing systems for consumer products
Perform experiments in an
anechoic chamber or listening room, judge sound quality, use high quality audio
interfaces with head and torso simulators
Utilize custom MATLAB data
acquisition software with FPGA or customer development boards connected to
prototype acoustic devices
