Talent Acquisition Specialist - Acute Care Nursing
There is an immediate
need to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The position will work closely
with the Medical Group, partnering with the group to hire Medial Assistants,
LPN's and RN's.
The Regional Director of
Talent Acquisition is building a team of leaders. The work being
done with selection, hiring and innovative Workforce Development strategies, is
gaining national recognition. We are working very closely with community
educational and workforce Thought Leaders, to develop a diverse and highly
competent healthcare workforce. The Talent Acquisition team is highly engaged
in "innovate recruitment initiatives". The team is very
cohesive, and supportive of each other and are highly respected within Mercy

Responsible for
recruiting and related activities associated with Talent Acquisition.
Collaborates with Business Partners and Hiring Managers to address staffing
needs. In addition, provides comprehensive specialized support to
functional area programs by conducting administrative processing activities and
participating in sponsored special projects and initiatives. Works
activities include assisting with coordinating recruiting events; identifying
candidates to fill positions; managing the interview process; guiding newly
hired associates through the First Year Onboarding process; coordinating
relocation services; managing daily vendor relationships; and responding to
varied ad-hoc assignments. Responsibilities reflect increased complexity
and greater decision-making and problem-solving latitude and require the
application of a broad knowledge of talent acquisition methods, practices and
techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in
Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field, or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three (3)
years of related Recruiting experience and knowledge with Human Resources
practices and employment laws and regulations. Prefer candidates with health
care recruiting background and experience. Ability to exhibit an
understanding of the business and care experience, including industry factors,
that influence Trinity Health’s fulfillment of it mission and how Human
Resource strategies, objectives and service delivery impact such success.
Must be experienced with high volume recruiting.
