Human Resource Director- * Hospital 


Description/Purpose of Position: Responsible for the daily operation of the facility Human Resource Department including, HR administration, employee/labor relations, regulatory compliance, compensation, benefits administration, performance management and related matters. Ensure excellent HR service to all levels of employees. Serve as business partner on facility Administrative Council, providing HR leadership and expertise as employee advocate, change agent, and administrative expert in people matters. Member of HR leadership team, provide input and recommendations on HR policy and administration.

                                                                                                    

Minimum Qualifications                                                                                             

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business/Human Resources Management.                                                                   

Experience:

5 - 10 years progressively responsible human resource management or related experience.  One year of experience in an environment with a union presence preferable.      Healthcare experience required.                                                               

Technical Skills:

Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and HRIS.                                                                

License/Certification:

PHR/SPHR certification preferable.                                                                  

Other:

Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State laws as they apply to human resources management.
