Director, HR Portal & Online Services

Responsibilities: The Director, HR Portal and Online Services acts as the
caretaker for the strategy and implementation of all HR self-service
technologies globally, including the “HR Portal” (HR section of the internal
portal that serves our employees globally) as well as the HR systems and technology
infrastructure. The Director acts as the business process owner for the
formulation and implementation of the HR content governance process, ensuring
timely, relevant, comprehensive, and accurate HR related information. The
Director also manages the functional operational environment for HR solutions.
They ensure operational readiness and stability for all HR systems, whether
newly implemented or already in production. The Director partners with the HR
Shared Services organization, HR Centers of Expertise, and IT to ensure the
systems that support the Human Resources function are operating as expected,
have clearly defined support escalation models in place, and are ready to
successfully support the HR business cycle processes, such as performance
management, talent acquisition and compensation planning.
Responsibilities HR
Online Services Drive the adoption of self-serve technologies including
the HR Portal, decision support tools (e.g. Knowledge Base), and enriching
content through new and innovative means. Ensure content management/governance
process is followed and refined as needed. Approve finalized content prior to
publishing Act as the primary point of contact to communicate key content
changes to MyHR operations staff in the relevant
region via a managed change and release management process Serve as the
feedback mechanism between MyHR agents and Centers of
Expertise community to refine content to ultimately deliver an exceptional
client service experience Partner with content owners, corporate
communications, and legal in order to ensure effective documentation and
messaging of content Ensure HR Portal on iWeb is
structured appropriately and that content is easily accessible (and searchable)
by employees Hold a holistic view across all functional CoEs
and ensure that this perspective is considered with regard to timing/frequency
of content change releases Set the method and rhythm of content / documentation
updates to both HR Portal and Knowledge Base, and ensure consolidated and
consistent communication Manage the “site admin” role for HR Portal on iWeb, overseeing all content and maintaining content
integrity and consistency, especially for dynamic content Act as the main HR
liaison with the technology team and corporate communication teams with regard
to Content related matters Represent the regional MyHR
teams to the CoE community in content related matters
HR System Governance Develop and implement processes and procedures that
guarantee that HR systems are functionally and technically ready for HR
cyclical business processes Work with IT partners to develop and implement
processes and procedures that guarantee smooth production implementations,
including user testing, signoff, and operational readiness procedures.
Determine the appropriate metrics that should be implemented to monitor overall
system health Develop and implement customer support escalation models that are
integrated across the service delivery channels (on-line, call center, and
functional and technical experts) Implement a regular cadence of operational
reviews to give visibility into the health of the HR systems ecosystem to
senior HR leadership Understand and implement shared services best practices
for supporting and continuously improving the delivery channels Maintain
industry/technical knowledge and facilitate/maintain industry relationships Be
committed to providing customer-focused quality service
Job Requirements:
•BA/BS degree in
Computer Science, Business Administration or related degree or equivalent
experience
•15 years of overall
experience
•A minimum of 5 years
of experience in developing and implementing operational practices and tools
•A minimum of five 5
years of experience in Workday, SAP and/or other HR technologies
•Strong working
knowledge of the HR business function, including experience in working in an HR
Shared Services organization: a strong understanding of HR business processes
and the technologies that support those processes
•Understanding of the
IT systems life cycle, with a particular emphasis on testing, production
turnover, and support
•Hands-on, with solid
expertise in implementing support processes and escalation models, operational
metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
•Experience directly
dealing with multicultural issues inside and outside the team in global,
multinational companies
Preferred Qualifications
•MBA or other
relevant advanced degree.
•A strong background
and/or certification in Six Sigma tools and methodologies
•Ability to work and
lead in unstructured environments
•Ability to work effectively
with others, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-departmentally
•Strong interpersonal
and consultative skills with the ability to mediate between business and
technology domains
•Exceptional
communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately at
all levels of the organization
•Experience working in a
team-oriented, collaborative environment
•Understanding of
complete software development lifecycle
•Experience with
Agile-based software development process
•5 + years of experience
in communications, content management, performance consulting, or training
Base Salary - $175,000 to $200,000
