RN-NURSE PRACTITIONER
CARDIOLOGY/ACUTE MI FULL-TIME DAYS
This position reports directly to
the CNO and indirectly to the personal supervising physician.
The Acute Care Nurse
Practitioner (ACNP) manages patients on their specialty service/practice under
the direction and indirection supervision of their supervising physician, who
may or may not be the service line Medical Director. This role is a leadership
position and the individual is responsible for effective time management,
resource utilization, cost effective delivery of patient care and demonstration
of positive role modeling. Other duties and skills include, but are not limited
to.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Nursing
Current California RN license and
Nurse Practitioner Certificate
Specialty Board Certification as an
ACNP or equivalent in specialty area
Current California Furnishing
License and DEA Number
Current American Heart Association
BLS Certification (maintain current at all times)
Demonstrated clinical competence and
leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to present self
in positive and professional manner
Preferred:
Two years of clinical experience
as a nurse practitioner
