Electrical Project Superintendent

Qualification Requirements

 Candidate must have commercial or industrial electrical experience in projects $1.5 million in contract value and up

 A project list from each candidate describing the project’s electrical contract value and their exact role on each project must be included along with resume at time of submission for immediate consideration

Responsibilities:

Train, manage and evaluate project team members.

Ability to assist Project Manager prepare construction schedules

Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization

Maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety and accident reports

Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts

Plan, organize and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work

Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs

Coordinate work with Purchasing to insure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of project

Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards

Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Active Journeyman’s License required

Prior knowledge and/or ability to learn and understand the estimating process

Must be a Safety True Believer

Proficiency with MS Excel and Word is required

Exposure to Accubid a plus

Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Strong customer service skills required

Ability to be mobile to various locations and available to travel to project areas as project needs are required

Willingness to travel

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred or previous work as Licensed Electrician/Supervisor

10+ years of electrical construction experience including 5+ years leading large jobs in Industrial/Commercial industry

Proven commitment to their past employers demonstrated by 5 or more years at each previous company (Explanation will be needed if they have less than four years at any single company)

Electrical Journeyman License is Required

Must have experience in the electrical construction industry, with a concentration in commercial and industrial large construction projects
